Rosie's Chilli Sauce

A versatile chilli sauce to use in things or on things!

900 ml
Tomatoes,

Sugar, Soft Brown

Mustard,
dry powder
4 tsp
Passata
10 fl oz

Method

  1. Wash and rinse the bottles and place in a warm oven to dry and sterilise
  2. Place all of the prepared ingredients except the sugar into a large pan and cook gently until soft, around 20-30 minutes
  3. Add the sugar and cook on until thick
  4. Put through a liquidiser or processor. Sieve to ensure smooth with no lumps
  5. Reheat very gently and then bottle, sealing immediately
